The Chesa Albertini

St Moritz - 12 + 4 Guests

Utterly unique, The Chesa Albertini is exceptional even for glittering St Moritz.

Built in 1665 and set in its own private grounds. The Chesa Albertini is more a mansion than a chalet, with 1,000m2 of living space arranged over four floors. The stunning interior took 12 painstaking years to refurbish. Old now brilliantly mixes with new: original oak-panelling and 17th century frescos alongside bold fabrics and contemporary furniture chosen by Zurich designer Hannes B. Outside, the views are breathtaking - the setting is picture-perfect, on the edge of the magical hamlet of La Punt, a short chauffeured drive from St Moritz, and five minutes from the private airfield of Samedan.

The inside is elegant and spacious. Each bedroom is unique, all furnished and decorated to perfection: one sumptuous and intimate, with an antique mahogany four-poster; another light and airy, with cool soft cashmere walls and a vast brass bed. Downstairs, there are endless living spaces, and facilities that are the envy of the valley: a gym, hot tub, sauna, cold plunge bath and massage room. With a team of dedicated staff the Chesa Albertini is, as the FT once described it, “glorious”.
